Walking With Truth Until We Walk In Truth

Happy Day Reader!

Today I did a thing! I set a foundation for the Word, Worship, and Fellowship. I joined Fellowship Christian Center, Pastor Kevin Kelly in LIttle Rock, AR. This is the first time I have been an in-person member of a church since COVID. I knew that when the Holy Spirit fell upon me that I was HOME. Not only do I get to start serving and being a part of a church family/community, I get to workship with my niece, Tracy!

Right now, I want to share something that has been sitting heavy on my heart since hearing Pastor Kevin Kelly’s sermon, “Open the Eyes of My Heart, Lord.” He said, “The longer you walk with truth, the sooner you will walk in truth.” Those words pierced me, because they reminded me how often we see truth long before we are ready to live it.

As women, we carry so much—family, relationships, work, our private battles. Sometimes our hearts close up without us realizing it. But truth will always rise. And when we walk closely with God, He opens our hearts at the right time so we don’t just walk beside truth—we walk in it.

John 8:32 reminds us, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” That freedom comes when we stop resisting what God shows us and start embracing it—even in relationships. We must ask, “Lord, open my heart to see what’s real. Don’t let me walk blindly into what could hurt me later.”

The beauty of God’s truth is that it doesn’t come to harm us; it comes to protect us, heal us, and lead us toward His best. So today, let’s pray for courage—not only for open doors, but also for open hearts.

The longer we walk with truth, the sooner we’ll walk in peace, freedom, and the fullness of God’s love.

Happy Day Reader! This Friday, we officially shift from winter into spring — a quiet but powerful reminder that change can be gentle, beautiful, and full of promise. For the remainder of this month, our focus will be Reset, Reflection, and Gentle Awakening. Reset means giving yourself permission to begin again without guilt. Release what felt heavy, what didn’t go as planned, and what you’ve outgrown. A reset is not failure — it is wisdom choosing peace. Reflection invites you to look back...

Happy Day Reader! Wow! We are already on day 2 of the 2nd month of 2026. Already over a month in and I'm so thankful for today. My heart has grown to not allowing anyone to enter into the inner chambers of it. I've learned to protect--guard my heart (Proverbs 4:23). Which brings me to the topic of today's email. Healing. This time last year, I had gone through a healing process after a connection was disconnected. It taught me a valuable lesson and I love me even more since I allowed God to...

A Day of Remembering Reader, Today we pause to remember the events of September 11, 2001. It was a day that left a mark on our nation and on our hearts. Many lives were lost, families were shattered, and countless people still carry the weight of those memories. Even after all these years, we continue to honor the lives taken, the heroes who rose up, and the resilience of a people who refused to be defeated by tragedy. In moments like these, we are reminded of God’s power to bring healing...
