Remembering 9/11 – God Heals and Restores

A Day of Remembering Reader,

Today we pause to remember the events of September 11, 2001. It was a day that left a mark on our nation and on our hearts. Many lives were lost, families were shattered, and countless people still carry the weight of those memories. Even after all these years, we continue to honor the lives taken, the heroes who rose up, and the resilience of a people who refused to be defeated by tragedy.

In moments like these, we are reminded of God’s power to bring healing where pain seems unbearable. Psalm 147:3 says, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” This verse reminds us that God has never turned away from our grief. He sees every tear, hears every silent cry, and continues to restore hope, even in places that feel broken beyond repair.

While we will never forget the pain of 9/11, we also remember the strength that rose from the ashes. We saw unity, courage, and compassion like never before. And we believe that God, in His faithfulness, continues to heal hearts and bring restoration to lives touched by loss.

Let us keep trusting Him to bind wounds, restore peace, and remind us that love always prevails.

Happy Day Reader! This Friday, we officially shift from winter into spring — a quiet but powerful reminder that change can be gentle, beautiful, and full of promise. For the remainder of this month, our focus will be Reset, Reflection, and Gentle Awakening. Reset means giving yourself permission to begin again without guilt. Release what felt heavy, what didn’t go as planned, and what you’ve outgrown. A reset is not failure — it is wisdom choosing peace. Reflection invites you to look back...

Happy Day Reader! Wow! We are already on day 2 of the 2nd month of 2026. Already over a month in and I'm so thankful for today. My heart has grown to not allowing anyone to enter into the inner chambers of it. I've learned to protect--guard my heart (Proverbs 4:23). Which brings me to the topic of today's email. Healing. This time last year, I had gone through a healing process after a connection was disconnected. It taught me a valuable lesson and I love me even more since I allowed God to...

Happy Day Reader! I keep hearing God whisper one word into my spirit—Restore. I don’t know exactly what He’s going to restore, but I trust Him. And that trust is what keeps me moving, even when life feels uncertain or heavy. Restoration doesn’t always look the way we expect. Sometimes God restores what was lost, sometimes He restores us in ways we didn’t even know we needed. That broken place in our hearts? He can heal it. The dream we thought was gone forever? He can breathe life into it...
